Scabal buys Wainshiell, whose origin dates back to 1807 and who had built an excellent reputation in Warwick street, the centre of woollen merchanting in the West End, by 1830. From 1907 they were registered on Savile Row and remained ever since. That house was built in 1735 and is on the right of the place where the Beatles played their last public performance on the roof top in 1969, at Savile Row nbr 2 (back then Apple Records HQ where also Let It Be was recorded).

Next to that the European growth of Scabal is a fact and Scabal is opening of different showrooms in European capitals.
