On Friday, 25th of November, Casa Frumoasa in Romania celebrated 15 years of activity in the field of sartorial and menswear excellence. Entitled “A Journey Through Style”, Julia Kristensen, founder and CEO, hosted a private event in the Bucharest store. The building is the former embassy of Luxemburg.
This beautiful 19th century manor house is located on the busiest boulevard in Bucharest where many high level shops of men's clothing are: Frumoasa street. A book "Casa Frumoasa" was written about typical Rumanian house decoration by Jan Harold Brunvand.
Starting up back in 1996 in an unexplored niche, Julia’s story throughout this challenging domain of exclusive brands and Made-To-Measure legacy, wrote itself naturally. Next to the Casa Frumoasa store, she has opened multi-brand stores for men and women in prestigious hotels as Marriott, Radisson and Rex.
Bucharest's history dates back as far as 1459 and shows an interesting mix of architecture, including modern alternations to former communist buildings. It’s grand hotels and buzzing nightlife make tourists have a pleasant stay.
