(C2123) More than 27 years after the international collaboration was first undertaken with the Twelfth Duke of Argyll, Scabal and Torquhil Argyll (Thirteenth Duke of Argyll) have decided to work together again. To pay homage to his late father, Scabal has decided to launch the “Royal Ultimus” range, a reinterpretation of the fabrics that were created in 1983 for Torquhil’s father.
Technology has evolved in the mean time and the new Royal Ultimus fabrics range is now even more attractive. It is made from classic fabrics woven in England, 90 per cent Super 150’s wool and 10 per cent cashmere. This Super 150’s wool is spun to a very traditional yarn count introducing 10 per cent of the finest cashmere available. It results in one of the most beautiful cloth ever made in 320 grams.
